Job Description:
Almarai – المراعي is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Officer to join our team in Dubai. The Accounting Officer will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of financial statements, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting various accounting functions within the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process by preparing financial projections and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather financial data and provide support for budget planning and expense tracking.
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Respond to inquiries from management, auditors, and regulatory authorities regarding financial matters.
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA, CA, ACCA, or similar professional certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
