Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and production areas.
- Transport raw materials, finished products, and supplies to designated locations.
- Perform regular equipment inspections and maintenance checks.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking and organizing materials.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately.
Requirements:
- Valid forklift operator certification and experience in forklift operation.
- Knowledge of forklift safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to operate various types of forklifts, including counterbalance and reach trucks.
- Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy objects and work in a warehouse setting.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada (Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work permit).
