Job Description:

IIQAF GROUP is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Radiographer to join our team in Ontario. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating radiographic equipment to produce images for diagnostic purposes and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, MRI, and CT scans, following physician orders.
  • Prepare patients for radiographic examinations by explaining the procedure, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their safety.
  • Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition.
  • Review and evaluate developed images for quality and accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update radiology information systems.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and provide accurate diagnoses.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize exposure to radiation for patients and staff.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of radiology department protocols and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with advancements in radiographic technology and techniques.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid certification and registration with the relevant professional body (e.g., CAMRT).
  • Proven experience as a Radiographer in a clinical setting.
  • Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
