Job Description:

DOHA BANK is looking for a dynamic and experienced Public Relationship Manager to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As a Public Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, government agencies, and the media, to enhance the bank’s reputation and promote its services effectively.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic communication plans to enhance the bank’s brand visibility and reputation in the market.
  • Build and nurture relationships with clients, partners, government officials, regulators, and media representatives to promote positive interactions and partnerships.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries, press releases, and public relations campaigns, ensuring accurate and timely dissemination of information.
  • Organize and coordinate events, conferences, and seminars to showcase the bank’s products, services, and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including marketing, sales, and legal, to align public relations activities with overall business objectives and regulatory requirements.

  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other communication materials for senior management and external stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, milestones, and future initiatives.

  • Represent the bank at industry conferences, networking events, and community engagements to enhance its visibility and reputation as a trusted financial institution.

Education and Qualification:

  • A bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, business administration, or related field is required. A master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or related roles, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders, including clients, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, media monitoring tools, and social media platforms.
